This is by far the most unique burl I have ever come across. It is a black oak burl and when I cut into it the burl was white meat with black black bird’s eye. This was about 24” in diameter and weighed 140 lbs. Sold it to a guy in New York. Still impressed by this one. HE has no lack in imagination!!!

how could you post this without pictures of it being cut..and not show the inside……im not trying to scold you …but….sure would be more complete with more pictures…..can ya maybe see what im sayin…lol…..thanks for the one shot though..its amazing what god create’s…and that he gives it to us…

I sold this about 2 years ago and this is the only picture that I have of it. I wish I would have save the pics. Sorry for the tease!

Greg, I can only imagine the figure and coloration that this would have had. I am sure it went into a gorgeous project.
