This weekends projects

Looks good there kiddo, can’t beat that free lumber, Wheres my batch of Christmas cookies, didn’t see no big pile of nobakes? HHHMMMM my favorite, FYI. just in case, table came out really nice also, but really liked the step up for the fire box can’t think what it’s called either. Know what it’s for just not what ya call it. That thar thing-a- ma-jig to keep the box seperated from the floor L.O.L.

Well, I can tell you this. Beer and chocolate don’t mix well. So, I ate very little cookiies. The beer was tasting horrible, then I figured it out, stopping eating the chocolate!

But Rum and chocolate do ogo together, we made Rum balls too. This picture was only half of what we did this weekend.

Now looking at the pictures, I can see I need to take the belt sander over that right miter. Why is it, nothing is ever done? Why did I have to see that now???! I didnt use a plane on these pieces. It’s just the scrap the lumber yard didnt want, flat on one side and rounded on the other. I think it’s called the allfall, but it’s not in the dictonary so I don’t know how to spell it. Anyway, I used the belt sander on the mitered edges to get them to meet nice. But now I have to go back and fix that. Darn it!

How are the plans for the dock coming?

They’re not! It’s hunting season. After that and Thanksgiving, the next project in December is central air and heat. It won’t be long, before January gets here and we’ll probably be staying home most weekends till March.

Nicely done thingy for the stove. The box is cool. Around my house those cookies won’t make it to Christmas…......probably not even till tomorrow.

The trick is to freeze them. Then you forget about them. I just pulled some out of the freezer we made last year. We vaccumed packed them and they were as fresh as the day we made them. Couldnt believe it, but they were. X-mas present I got last year and I love it.
