The wife and kids are still out of town for Spring Break so I went through my scrap pile and made this breadboard or cutting board, which ever you want to call it. I used the rest of the curly maple board from the pizza peel I made earlier in the week, as well as wenge and maple. It’s about 18”x14”. I’m not sure that I like the Cherry in combination with the wenge and maple. I needed some additional width and didn’t have any more maple or wenge to use. I have a ton of cherry, so it was a reasonable substitute. I love cherry, but I think 3 different species is a bit much. What matters is that my wife loves it, though. This was about the easiest project I’ve ever made. Total shop time was under an hour. I finished it with Behlen’s Salad Bowl Finish. Thanks for looking – Mike.
