the ipe lumber for this table was left over from my brother-in-law’s deck project from a few years back.
I thought it would make an elegant and durable table for outside.

ipe fun stuff huh,ive used it myself on patio tables and plant shelves,its not called ironwood for nothing .its tuff on blades and bits but it should last 50 years with a yearly oiling.you did a great job on that table my friend,you should be able to that pass on to your grand kids.

Looks great. Ipe has some great qualities, like taking a beautiful finish. It also has gotten expensive, 9.95/bd ft at Crosscut Hardwoods the other day.

Your table is worth a pretty penny, so to speak.
