The best day I have ever had in my shop. Got to teach my only grandchild to turn a Snowman. He picked right up on the handling the tools and finding the sweet spot on the cutting edge. We have an obligation to the next generations to teach the art of wood.

That’s Great that you can teach your grandson an excellent hobby. I have three grand daughters but no sons yet. Snowmen are fun to turn, I made a lot !!!

Good job, both of you. I applaud you for teaching the boy, and I applaud the boy for wanting to learn. Too many kids now don’t want to do anything that doesn’t involve a t.v., or a cell phone. It’s good to see the two of you in the shop making the shavings fly. Nice looking snowman too.

Well done David. Your enjoyment of this event is obvious and it’s wonderful that your grandson was an interested and willing party.

I love post like this that involve the young ones so they can learn. It’s especially nice when they learn from a grandparent. Great work guys!
