one my friends brought me this chair. it had been in his family for awhile. it was about to be thrown away because of it’s condition, but he wanted to save it. obviously, it needed some help. it only had 3 good joints on it, i had to repair the rest of them. the funny thing is that he was still using it up until he was told to get rid of it. i really don’t know how it held him.
this was my first attempt at upholstry (albeit basic). overall, i’m happy with how it turned out. it’s comfortable to sit in, and you don’t have to worry about ending up on the floor now. it gets picked up tomorrow afternoon. i think he’ll be suprised/happy with it.

For sure – the original looked sorely in need of repairs. I like the darker color in the grooves rather than the lighter color in the originals. Makes it look more polished.

That did turn out well. Nice job.
