Wow man. This is incredible. Love the stools, going to make one.

Did you use any local wood from your backyard? I’d love to hear some details (but not necessary).

Very nice!. Cherry is one of the woods I most love to work with, it has a beautiful color and grain and is relatively easy to work with. What is the top made of? Like the stools too! Excellent work and lovely design!

Amazing work. I love the figured panels. I’m impressed you made stools as well. Many people shy away from chair/stool work. Good stuff!!!

Nice job on the dogs, where did you find such contrasting “dogwood” to make them from :-) :-)

I’m with everyone else on the stools. Really cool design and the seat shape looks really comfortable.

As for the island, the figure on that cherry is amazing. I wish I could find cherry with that much character around here. Great work on the drawers, the dovetails look hand cut. What finish did you use on the island. That sapele top looks extra dark, I’m assuming you used stain to increase the contrast. Did you use the same finish on the top?
Overall, that island really compliments the kitchen, amazing job.
