Vanity with towers

Project by Asher posted 837 days ago 804 views 2 times favorited 11 comments Add to Favorites Watch

This is a vanity with towers that I built for my hall bath when I remodled it. The cabinets are birch plywood with edgebanding to cover the ply edge. The doors and drawer fronts are hard maple. It is stained with water soluble dye and four coats of pre-cat laquer. Now my 8 yr old and 2 yr old have a nicer bathroom than me. I think I know who is runnig the asylum.

Very beautiful. The dark wood and accent lighting make it look rich. Nice work!

Wow! I can’t show this to my kids or I’m sleeping in the garage.

I like what you did with birch – biggest challenge seems to be getting a nice finish and you certainly did – nice work

Very nice. I think I’ll place my order now! I think you should trade bathrooms until you get yours remodeled.
