Wow, I had twins!

Actually, I wanted to try a “production run” of my model, “The Keene” to see how much quicker I could produce them on a per basis, and yes, it was a time saver.

Anyhow, they are maple, quilted maple, and paduak. The ceramic leaf tile is handmade by a local artist, and one has a glossy finish, the other has none. The finish? 3 coats of clear shellac and 3 coats of Briwax…a finish I’m coming to love!

I made a water-slide decal for my logo; it was quite easy to do, and considering making a tutorial any Joe can follow, if anyone is interested….really gives it a nice touch, I think….

Now to sell these buggers….

If you want to see a large picture, go here.

Congratulations on your twins ! I see they were only 2 minutes apart….....................

Beautiful choice of wood and craftsmanship, these will go fast I believe.

Yes, I would love to see how you made your decals and the sources for materials…...........

Thanks for sharing

Gorgeous design! Would love to see a tutorial on your waterslide decal. Also, give an ‘atta boy to that local artist, a very nice touch with the leaves. Good luck

Great looking clocks and combination of wood. Do you turn the face ring on the lathe? How much time do you figure you shaved on each clock by doing two at a time?

I would be very interested it learning how to do the water decal..
