Here’s a pen I turned from a piece of native Mesquite I picked up in the desert of Southern Nevada, just outside Las Vegas. I was pleasantly surprised about how it turned out. I compared it to another pen I had turned from Koa and it looked almost the same! It made this as part of the pen turning challenge put on by James Green. I’ll be shipping this to James and he’ll be shipping all the pens he got from the challenge to troops over seas.
