This is a truck that i have been working on for the last year on and off. it has been hard to get time to get out in the shop lately as i have a 4 year old daughter and a 20 month old son. My daughter has been spending lots of time with me out there lately that is how i actually got this truck done, she love to puck-up saw dust. i built this plan with a combination of the Toys and Joys tow truck and pictures of the actual truck. i put this truck in the Kamloops Wood Workers Guild Show and Sale this past weekend and came out with first place and peoples choice in my category. For looks i made the Super “b” Chip trailer to go behind it, the trailer is 54 inches long and the truck sticks out 15 more inches more infront of that. This was a fun project to build and i think the next one that i do may be a Kenworth boom truck.

Very nice an outstanding truck and trailers. I wonder how if people know what chip hauling trailers are for if they don’t live in a lumber or mill area. I see them on the hi way all the time in my area.

Thanks for the words of encouragement toymaker, the “big stuff” isn’t really a problem for me, the stuff that you are doing may be a bit of a challenge… a challenge that I probably take a stab at one of these days, thanks again and keep up the great work.
