These boots came from a collection of some of my – free, found, fallen, fragile, firewood, fence post wood. Normally this type of wood would have become ashes by now but my crazy boot idea preserves them as a work of art.

Picture 1 l. to r. – maple, live edge, juniper crotch, apple wood root. apple wood root

Picture 2 l. to r. – apple, apple, maple, juniper

What an awesome collection of boots. Excellent job saving these from the firewood.

Roman, have you built a special closet for your immense, and growing, shoe collection?

Those boot look like them have been well used, great use of wood that would have ebded up as ashes, A real treasure.
