This is another chess board was completed about a year ago. I had it in a local coffee shop for about a year also but it never sold. So I decided to get it back and list it on Ebay, maybe I will have better luck there. here are the specifics:

The squares are 2 1/4” and the over all size of the board is 23”. I have been doing wood working for over 25 years, but I am not a photographer, so the pictures do not do this board justice.

The squares are made from Bloodwood and Curly Maple. The wood that divides the squares is Wenge.
The frame around the board is Macacaubu and the inlay on the frame is Macasser Ebony. The feet are made from Curley Maple. The “keys” on the corners of the feet are Bloodwood and Wenge.

The finish is 7 coats of Danish oil that is “wet sanded” between coats with progressivly finer grits of sandpaper up to 1200 grit. It is then buffed with tripolli and white diamond and finally carnuba wax.
