Made from cherry and some scraps of maple left over from another project. For my old man’s birthday. Finished with food safe mineral oil.

That looks like a fairly hefty board!

Very nice like the size and looks. What is food safe mineral oil? Sorry I am new at a lot of this stuff.

Fantastic board.. nice use of grain orientation,...

Paul regards Food Safe Mineral Oil… Available at your local pharmacy… also known as paraffin oil… major ingredient in laxatives… fun stuff but really works well with cutting boards…makes the color and grain pop and reduces glue lift..
Ok glue lift is the distinct ridge you feel between pieces in a glued up board.
