It’s been some time that I’ve posted anything, but a month ago one of my staff ask me if I could make her a small wooden serving tray. As she is one of my hardest workers I wanted to make it special. As we work a midnight shift at one of the big box home stores (we restock the shelves) I’ve made it all from skids that I’ve taken home from work. So the type of wood is Mahogany for the sides and cherry for the handles and a small piece of plywood (yes from a small skid) that I like the grain pattern.
As she is 70 yrs old and has talk to me about going from full time to part time I wanted to make it from things at work so when the day comes that she just does not want to work anymore it will remind her of work.
