My other mother-in-law got this from me for Christmas a few years ago. She loves Amber. White oak with Ebony and Amber inset, brass tubing and brass cord. Behind the Amber is a small piece of glow-in-the-dark material for a slight glow at night and dark rooms.

Brilliant use of mixed media, inspired idea for the glow-in-the-dark backing. Oh, and it looks great too!

This piece is stunning !! What a brilliant idea using a glow in the dark material behind the Amber .
What is the glow in the dark material you used ?
And are there any bugs inside the Amber ?
I have some Amber with some bugs traped inside.
For those that don’t know what Amber is Its fossilized tree resin.
