These are some of the boxes i have finished lately made with a selection of timbers (ash oak beech maple walnut) and are finshed with Danish oil
most are constructed with mitered joints with splines i use this type of joint as it gives the best results with the limited and modest tools i have at my disposal, for these boxes i used masking tape to clamp the boxes tight, it was my first time to try this and was surprised by the results… i might put up a blog posting soon of a step by step of how i make a box using the masking tape method.

Nice boxes. I particularly like the unusual handles.
Welcome.

I love the box with the inset lid and corner clipped for opening. Great design.

thanks abe thats one of my favorite ones too although its not perfect, the corner opening was easy to do just shaped on the end of a belt sander…

Very nice boxes. That masking tape clamoing works real good for these smaller projects. Not just limited to boxes either. I used it on my PurplHeart and Maple Staved Bowl
Great job. Great designs.
Keep it up.
