The headboard of a birthing bed made originally for my youngest daughter when she finished the Midwives training. Birch frame and birch ply with a torsion box base with drawers for all of the needed supplies. The carving is the Midwives Association of Washington State. Now that she has changed to a regular nursing career I will sell it to one of the association members more than likely.

Thank you, the original creator of the art work is unknown to me. I just copied the association logo.
It is all stored away or I would post more pics. Yes the base of the bed is the box, about 24” high, with three sets of drawers on each side. I even found a way to provide “stirrups” that fit into sockets in the foot end of the bed.
