Very nice piece. I agree with snowdog, I don’t think I would put a wet plant pot on that beautiful wood…..

Great work and spectacular wood. That burl is really light in color, is it walnut? I have some unidentified burl with the same orange type color (4-1/2X24X16 sheets of veneer).

Well, that came out good! I like the burl figure. It really adds some uniqueness to that top!

the veneer is elm carpathian burl. the flash must have made it look a little orange but is really in not. little lighter than the walnut.
