This was one of my first attempts. I used the natural edge of the top as the handle. Not an difficult work but I like the grain in the wood.

Great box – I love the use of the live edge for the lid lift. Very nice wood you used.

I am not sure of the wood. It is from a log I found on my Father’s farm, oak, I think. Finish oil plus final coat of varnish. THANKS FOR ALL THE NICE COMMENTS.

Gorgeous box. The grain is beautiful and I love the natural edge handle.
