this is a set of black walnut salad bowls I made for a friend. I have been real busy as of late. I got a lot of stuff to do, and a little time to do it. but that’s always the way it is.

Nothing like walnut…. great wood to turn. Your bowls look good.

Awesome job on those bowls. This year i am planning on getting me a lathe and some tools and try to learn how to use them. Do you have any suggestion on how i should get started?, and what kind of lathe and tools should i get as a begginer? Cause i have never used a lathe before but i allways wanted to turn something. Thanks.
