A number of my LumberJocks buddies have requested plans for my animated lamps, and now two of them are featured in the April/May 2016 issue of Woodcraft Magazine with all of my “secrets” revealed.

Browsing Giraffes … http://lumberjocks.com/projects/189914 ... got top billing.
Browsing Brontos … http://lumberjocks.com/projects/177882 ... has a walk-on in a sidebar.

The article describes the assembly process. Full-size patterns are available on their website.

Working with the pros at Woodcraft Magazine was a special treat for me because they also turned out to be some very nice guys. Special thanks to editor Joe Hurst and art director Chad McClung. You guys ROCK !!!

Way to go John! Hopefully the editors at Woodcraft are smart enough to contract you for some of your other awesome Hutchinson originals. You have enough material to keep them busy for a few years!

It’s very big accomplishment when your project gets to wood magazine. Luckily, I have such experience with one of my project.
