This is my newest addition to my website, the little mocs were a last thought to add to the finished cradleboard. They will hang just between the top of the backboards. The back boards are sensibly not part of the original papoose. The fur is also not carved. I attend a lot of shows and as much as I want the viewers to know it’s wood, I also want authenticity to create the illusion that they may not be. If I ever add anything, it’s usually fur to add to that illusion. Fur is not very realistically carved. Feathers are hard enough.
I have become obsessed with perfection and each time I finish a piece I can’t wait to get started on another to improve. Harder than the carving is taking photos of it them that captures the detail clearly and true to color without a flash etc.
I am amazed at some of the furniture I have seen on this website so far and I hope to one day try my hand at making a piece that I can create with possibly something carved on it.

Another fantastic piece. Just checked out your web site. Your attention to details are great and your carvings are some of the best I have seen. I will be checking your web site often.
