Latest segmented project. This one is made of paduak, maple and walnut and has over 300 pieces. It measures about 9 1/2’ tall, and is also about 9 1/2” wide at the center. I finished it with sanding sealer, then three coats of hand-rubbed satin spar urethane, and buffed it with Renaissance Wax. Very time-consuming but totally worth it since it didn’t end up in the firewood pile!

Beautiful piece Ron. I tried segmented once . . . . . that kind of patience is not mine to hold.

Now that’s what I call a beautiful piece of work.
