This is a table that one of my customers down here ordered for her living room.
It is made from pine and finished with honey maple stain and 3 coats of polyurethane.

It is 20×24 and 24” high with a drawer with ball bearing slides.

Cheers, Jim

I’d be willing to bet that you have a happy customer. The extension slides are a nice feature for long term use.

Nice work Jim…....There is always something very appealing about small tables, particularly so with a slide out drawer. The lower taper in the legs puts a nice touch to it.

I don’t know wheather it is the honey maple stain or the style of the table, but it seems to take me back to my childhood and we would be visiting someone and I liked wandering about and looking at their furniture etc….. old Aunties and Grandmas in those days had lots of old things that a kid could look at. There would have been a large slice of cake and a glass of cold milk sitting on a table like that and of course there would have been a lace table mat as well…......if only we could step back in time now and again and experience these things again.

Great project Jim….Thank you for posting it.

Regards,

Cliff.

-- Bob, Western Australia, The Sun came up this morning, what a great start to the day. Now it's up to me to make it even better. I've cut this piece of wood 4 times and it's still too damn short.

I should have known it would look great, the drawer is a nice touch, and the finish looks great in the photos. I’m sure your customer is very happy.

The finish is quite impresive. I like that small drawer.
