I just finished this box for my dad for his birthday. He loves his sweettarts and smarties, so decided he needed a nice box for his desk to always keep full. The box is 8” x 10”. It is aromatic cedar, with the top and bottom being walnut. I really didn’t think a cedar lid would look right, and needed something to contrast.

Might have to use this for something else and make another from a different wood. Great design. Like the contrasting lid. Keep it up. Scrappy -- Scrap Wood's the best...the projects are smaller, and so is the mess!
