Finally, yes finally, finished this pyro. Let’s see, only took 257 days to get’er done!

I’m obviously not going to get rich selling artwork if I take that long from start to finish. :>) That’s okay, money can’t buy you happiness. But it will buy you a big boat and sail you right up beside it. One of my favorite quotes that came from David Lee Roth of Van Halen fame during a Playboy interview. I was only reading the articles, really, honest.

Cheers,
Doug

Thanks everyone. I’m toying with the idea of coloring the eyes. In real life they are yellow. What do you think? Leave it as is or color the eyes?

it wonderful the way it is… but the yellow would also really make a great pix..
I’d be tempted to go with the yellow.

We have a big juried wildlife art show every November called ‘Reflections of Nature’ and I was just checking the categories to see if I can enter this piece. Looks like they have a “Monochrome” category in the art/painting section. I might try my luck at that and see what happens. Means I’ll have to leave the eyes as is.

Cheers,
Doug
