Here’s a quick little project I completed recently. It’s a set of game boards that you see at tailgates, the beach, block parties, etc. It’s just 2 2’x4’ sheets of 3/4” plywood framed by 1”x4” stock. I chose to take a quick stab at box joints with my router, and found out that my (very) makeshift router table is not nearly precise enough to make the joints fit tightly, so I wound up hand cutting the last 7 joints. They are stained, then painted (GO HOKIES), then sprayed with several coats of lacquer suitable for outdoor use. They also have fold-away stands fixed to the back with lag bolts. Now all I need is my wife to sew me some bags and I’m good to go!
