No they are quite easy to build as long as you are patient. Sometime that’s tough for me, but I am getting better at it. Most of the work is done on the band saw. That’s one of the reason I bought the rigid belt/spindle sander. That baby was a life saver. If I had to do all that by hand I would be done next Christmas. I would say you could nock one out in almost a weekend.
