Some time ago I decided to made G&G clocks to my daughters . I found this project here The clocks are made out of sapele and oak. Stained ” Varathane Gel Red mahagony” and finished with 2 coats oil.
I used beech dowels for the assembly clocks.

I like how the back has as much attention to detail as the front, A feature often overlooked for a mantle piece.

Nice work!

Very clean work! I like the way you put the grain diagonally on the clock’s face.

Great looking pair of clocks! I like the G&G details, and that they’re not over done!

This clock is a beauty and is so nicely crafted.
