This is a wood candle holder that I made for my wife to have auctioned off for a local non-profit ministry. The idea came from Woodsmith Magazine, Issue No. 185. However, instead of making wood grills, I installed a piece of colored glass. I made this out of cherry and actually left it unfinished. Piece turned out good and did well at the auction. The one thing that I learned with this project was the importance of an accurate jig, FROM THE BEGINNING!!! I welcome all comments, as this is one of my first woodworking projects.

Very nice candle holder. Sounds like a nice new project for me. I think I would like to add a top lid (e.g. copper) since it would also be nice for on our balcony. What’s the length/width?
