Pine Stump

Project by TreeGuy posted 19 days ago 275 views 0 times favorited 5 comments Add to Favorites Watch

This is a spruce stump my neighbor pulled out. It is 18” tall and 12” dia. The top of the vase is actualy the bottom of the stump. Very out of balance and hard to sand with the irregular shape.

Unique turning Bryan. The photos would show off your project better it you turned them right side up. You can do this in your picture file by clicking on the picture and turning it ito the correct orientation with the turn arrows in the picture gallery program. You probably already know this, but just in case…..........

Thank you for the comments. I started turning this and my son asked “what are you going to make dad?” I replied “I don’t know, I will just take what the wood gives me and see what happens” Well, this is what happened.

Thanks again
