Leprechaun Trap

Project by missingdigitworkshop posted 22 days ago 587 views 2 times favorited 12 comments Add to Favorites Watch

This was a school project for St. Patrick’s Day. The kids were instructed design and build a device that would trap a Leprechaun and he would have to give up his gold.

It works on a simple principle. The Leprechaun picks up the gold which springs the trap and the cup falls and traps the Leprechaun.

Surprisingly the trap was tripped but the Leprechaun got away. Hopefully we will have better luck next year.

Leprechaun’s hate white. You need to get a green cup!

I agree with kcrandy, green is the way to go. The little fellows are very crafty by the way. My daughter has even come close to catching one. I have news for him, for half that gold I’d let him go LOL!!!

This was a First Grade project.
I was truly amazed at how creative the kids were.
