Simple pecky box 2"x2"x6"

Roomie had some folx over to work on a bike. The GF was bored stiff and I made this for her while she waited. The boxes take about an hour and a half with one hour of that waiting on the glue to set.

The scrap from the project all fits in the box:

COOL lil box! So SMALL… Looks bigger!

Love the molding at the end to slide into perfect position…

You did a really nice job on the box. I do not know what wood it is but it would be nice to have some of it.

I too think the box is a real eye catcher and would also like to know what the timber is.
I am sure your GF was most impressed.
