Two 2” poplar spheres and one 2 1/2” maple.

I do these between centers with shop-made cups.

Look good… I d like to know HOW those are made…

It is actually fun … and quite simple. You start out with a spindle blank between centers, turn a big bead in the middle of it, cut the spindle ends off on the bandsaw, then use a pair of shop-made cups between centers to refine the sphere.
