Looks great! How easy is it to turn these pieces with open areas? I keep having visions of explosions (OK – small ones) at the end of my turning tool.

it,s not to bad to turn at all you need sharp tools and turn it as if it was a solid piece. I have done several open segmented projects and (cross fingers) never had one blow up on me yet.

I was really surprised as it turned really easy no tear out and sanded and finished really easy.
