A friend of mine in the Army was gong to be a proud papa and Imade this for them just to show appreciation of what he was doing and as a gift also. Main body is ash with a maple tray and cherry and peruvian walnut center.

That’s a beautiful chair. I’m sure we’ll never see it out front in the garage sale. Great job.

Hi Tilt,

I am catching up on the past posts as I have time but I just wanted to say that the chair looks great. The wood combinations really compliment each other. This is something that your friend can use and his children can pass it on to their children.
