My latest segmented turning project.
Made with purple heart, poplar, and some black veneer.

This pieces was finished with poly and then wet sanded to get a glass smooth finish.

I also like the unfinished shots with the numbers. Looks like some kind of olde-timey calculator.

very very nice. Well done. I am not a turner however I presumed there is a lot of hours of passionate work in order to make such a piece.

You have indeed TURNED a real beautiful piece!

I bet that was a lot of work but well worth the effort.

A real beauty, I will be attempting my first segmented turning soon. I’m sure it won’t be great but I have been dying to learn and have been practicing with my new Lathe. Great work…..

That is very very nice. I like it and very inspiring, I have all the birch I could ever use, the white with a small amount of dark wood looks great, would like to try segmented turning, with the wood I have, your project is first class.
