Wardrobe refurbishing

Project by archie18 posted 25 days ago 256 views 0 times favorited 2 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Bought this wardrobe at an estate auction last year. Had no intention of buying it but could not pass up the price, only $55. It is very old, made of poplar. The reason it sold so cheaply was that the finish was in poor condition, it was very dirty, and the doors had come apart and needed some repair. The first photo shows it with the doors repaired. I refinished with Minwax Special Walnut polystain. I added some walnut drawers to make it more functional.
