I made this side table from pine for the girlfriend. I stained it with ebony aniline dye and finished it with water base varnish. It was my first time using aniline dye and I didnt really like it as it would fade or dissolve on the surface of the wood when I was applying varnish. Feel free to comment on the dye if you have had better experience with it.
