Here is a coffee table I made out of African Mahogany. There is not one fastener (pin nails on the shelf into the rails). All joints are mortise and tenon. The drawers are bearing glide full extension drawers and dovetailed all four corners and the face is a rabbet dovetail. Most of the wood is 5/4 with some being 4/4. Shelf is 3/8 Baltic Birch with mahogany veneer and dadoed into the four legs with a rabbet on all the rails. Table is 56”L x 22”W x 17-1/2”H.
I do have scaled CAD drawings in 3D if anyone wants to see them.

I recently purchased some African Mahogany and I love it. The table is beautiful and does justice to the wood.
