We call these hammers “Caveman Mallets”. The inspiration for these came from our Son who is deathly afraid of spiders. On a trip to Oregon, we saw one of these mallets with the slogan “Spider-Getter” burned into it, and immediately thought of our Son. So, we bought it for him for Christmas. Then we got to thinking that this is something we could do, too, with a little humor and imagination. When we sat down and began thinking of slogans to burn into the mallet heads, we came up with about 4 pages that would work. Since then, we’ve sold quite a few, and we give the option of letting the purchaser use one of the slogans we have or they can come up with one of their own that we burn into the mallet.

Great idea. Regarding that last mallet – from my experience I don’t know any guy who would every have to use that (LOL!!!).
