A pretty piece of furniture ! How do you attach the legs to the slab ? How do you prevent shear forces on the legs ? I looked at your e-store , you have some nice items !

Did I mention I was a life long framer?
These legs are attached with a 16 nailer, A framing gun. Duo Fast. HAHA Just kidding!
First the legs are routed 1/2” into the bottom of the top. Then I use 4” selftapping screws like toenails but drilled & plugged with the same oak. & then there is the log brace that is attached with the same screws but 2” self tapping star drivin porcelain coated screws. Plenty strong & no penetrations through the top. Thanks again, Ted
