Made this pair of frames for some friends as a wedding gift.
Bird’s eye maple and purpleheart.
Finish is just some BLO and wipe on poly.
The purpleheart matches one of their wedding colors so they really appreciated them for their wedding photos.

That is some beatiful maple and the purple heat really sets it off. The joints look great, nice and tight. Great job.

These are nice frames and I can well understand why the couple appreciated them as gifts. You chose a nice wood selection as well. The purpleheart compliments the maple well.
