This is a charging station I built for the top of our dresser for charging our tablets and other USB charged accessories. Before we would swap the cables between each and had them strung out all over the top of the dresser.

Another issue is that my ipad charging cable would disappear every few days as our daughter couldn’t locate her cable.

I ordered a 5 port usb charger with 2.4 amps per port from amazon and some little 1’ USB charging cords and built the station to house it. We didn’t use the plugs on top, so didn’t create access to them. The end has a hole to reach the power switch if need be.

The ends are screwed on to keep the cables from walking away. ;-)

I’ve ordered a smaller usb unit without the outlets and will build one for our family room too so that it’s more convenient for other family members to use.
