A few months before Christmas I got a request to make a small table. Had to be white and had to be ready for Christmas.
It was entirely built of birch. The table top has pinned breadboard ends and it was finished with Osmo white oil (I actually do prefer Liberon, but it was not available that that time).
For the legs I chose to use the diagonal crossed members. The two leg members are half lapped in the center and bolted to the base. The half lap is not 100% rigid in the center and allows some movement, just a few degrees is needed to follow the seasonal movement of the table top.
Overall, this was a quick and easy project.
