My coworker was helping his wife clean out a family members home that passed away. They found a flag in a box from an uncle that was killed in Normandy. I told him to let me borrow the flag for a few days to honor a fallen hero. I came up with this display case that is made of Poplar with a rustic stain and finish. I set the case on a platform held up by M1A1 carbine shells that were found with the flag also. They thought it might have been from the rifle salute but could not confirm this. I did my best to horror this man I didn’t know and hopefully it will be a good memorial for the family.
