I use shellac for finish, is the traditional way in this cases. Mark, you and everybody are welcome in Portugal I like the idea.Thanks

beautiful restoration! did you have to do much marquetry repair or other woodwork that had broken, been damaged, etc…?

Beautiful. I love that there are wood workers, restorers that bring these beautiful pieces back to thier original glory. A wonderful talent you have. How long does a piece like this take to restore?
