Where did the year go? About a year ago I was online looking for a lumber supplier in my home town when I stumbled upon this site…since then I have made several woodworking friends and contacts around the world! It’s also as open a world of possibilities for me.
Since then my shop did not seem so small and the project did not seem so hard to build. “Why?” you ask…well because of your support, inspiration and just plain old friendship!
Oh! By the way I did find a lumber supplier in town “Oliver Lumber”. Message me for more info if you are in the GTA region.
I could not post a year anniversary without pictures (what would Karson Jim and Charlie say) so here are some early pictures of a Maloof inspired 1/8 scale prototype chair I am working on.
These are still in the early stages and there is a lot of wood to be removed which is a new concept for me since all my woodworking life I have struggled to add wood to a project.
Thanks for looking guys and lets keep this community going and growing!
God bless!

I agree with you about the friendship. This is a great site. the problem is I spend more time emailing back than working I think. My wife is begining to wander what’s up!
