Second Humidor

Project by Tango posted 28 days ago 350 views 3 times favorited 8 comments Add to Favorites Watch

This is the second Humidor of the series! The first one came out so nice and efficient that I decided to build another one. This one does not have an owner yet…but a couple of friends are already lobbying.
I used the same technique as the first one, solid spanish cedar for the box but Walnut veneer for the sides and legs and gaboon ebony veneer on the top. The hinges are Brusso (excellent choice!!!).

The finish is brushed Deft glossy lacquer (many many coats…) and a final polish with 3M automotive compound and 2 coats of wax.

The aroma of the Spanish Cedar when you open it is really nice!

Thank for watching.

Very nice work.

Your box is absolutely worthy of Brussos! Great box.
